3 Reasons Repping our Brand is NOT Culturally Appropriative

First things first, we have been overwhelmed by the support & love we've been receiving since launching our clothing line. 💜 We want to take this time to respond to some questions we've been getting in our DM & email with allies wondering if wearing our merch or becoming members of our movement would be considered cultural appropriation. Why we started a podcast (& why you should too)

BEHIND DG
Dearborn Girl, a Thawra Network production, was founded in 2019 by Yasmeen Kadouh & Rima Imad Fadlallah. Tired of seeing media mishandle their stories, these proud daughters of Dearborn created a space where Arab &/or Muslim women can celebrate their culture while unearthing toxic taboos. They begin this media movement in their hometown, the nation's largest concentration of Arabs.
When they aren't running DG, this duo is diligently working on the official launch of its umbrella company, Thawra Network.
Tune in to keep up with their next big move.
